Seven Coloured Earth

The spectacular seven-coloured dunes at Chamarel is a must see geological attraction of Mauritius. Apparently owing to the erosion of volcanic ash, the earth at this small undulated hill has turned into an orderly pattern of blue, green, red and orange shade layers. The colours are at their best in the evenings.

Chamarel Water Fall

The spectacular 100-meter Chamarel Water Fall, highest in Mauritius, plunges against a scenic backdrop of forest and mountains. Alexandra fall is also nearby. Enjoy a fresh cool bathe at the bottom of series of seven falls. Rochester fall is towards the south of island.
